Determining Dimmer Compatibility with your EagleLight LED Dimmable Bulbs
EagleLight LED Lights include LED dimmable bulbs that can dim on many low wattage standard wall dimmers. These dimming light bulbs require considerably less energy than traditional higher wattage bulbs. Due to this some standard wall dimmers will not work, if the total amount of wattage draw on the circuit does not meet the minimum wattage requirements of the pre-installed dimmer. To check compatibility check to see if the minimum wattage on your dimmer is less than the total, combined wattage of your LED dimmable bulbs is greater than the minimum wattage of your existing wall dimmer. If your existing dimmer does not support the lower energy consumption of your new total wattage of your LED dimming light bulbs then you may need to replace your dimmer with a low wattage dimmer. Most major manufacturers offer low wattage dimmers for use with LED dimming light bulbs.
